About Algarve Electric
Algarve Electric is the customer-facing brand through which electrical services are offered to property owners across the Algarve. Enquiries, communication and scheduling are handled under the Algarve Electric name.
Who Carries Out the Work
Algarve Electric does not directly employ electricians. Work is carried out by a trusted network of independently registered specialist subcontractors, personally known and vetted by our lead electrician, each engaged on a job-by-job basis. None of these specialists are employees of Algarve Electric. You may see a specialist's own business name or branding on-site or on your invoice — this reflects our normal way of working and is part of the same service you booked through us.
Contractor Standards
Every job is matched to the specialist within our network holding the qualification relevant to that specific task — for example, DGEG-registered work, air conditioning installation, or electrical engineering. Not all tasks require the same certification, and each specialist operates within their own area of qualified expertise.
Liability
Algarve Electric coordinates enquiries and scheduling but does not itself perform electrical work. Liability for the standard, safety and outcome of work carried out rests with the independent specialist who performs it, in line with their own registration and applicable Portuguese law. The final contractual and payment relationship for completed work is between the customer and that specialist.
